IS IT OK TO CARRY OVER GOALS OR FAIL IN OUR GOALS?
Here are few tips to do when you fail to achieve your 2018 Goals going into 2019.
You can learn from those failures and leverage on it to move forward to 2019.
Failures can be valuable, when you learn from them.
1. Forgive yourself for the goals you were not able to accomplish.
Beating yourself won't help going forward or motivation or self esteem.
2. What were the goals you failed to achieve and what stopped you from accomplishing them?
3.Most of those goals you failed to achieve were SHOULD GOALS
Goals that you were supposed to make a MUST GOAL like your Sales selling 10 plots or 20 plots of land or Finance Goals , losing weight, Some of wanted to Get Married in 2018 but didn't do it, spending more time with your loved ones, learning digital marketing, learning selling skills, this goals are goals you know you should do but DEEP DOWN you were not committed to do what it takes to achieve them. This goals many People carry them over Year after Year and Year and don't get them Accomplished??????????.
You want to set exciting goals like getting a certification or professional license. Ask your self what lights me up.
4.Not Making a 100% Commitment to Achieve Your Goals.
Once you decide to achieve a goal always have a 100% Commitment no matter what.
5. Implement a daily, Weekly, and Monthly Planning system that will help you stay on track to Achieve your goals.
Sometimes you underestimate or overestimate the time to achieve your goals. Resources you need to Achieve your goals are Time, money ,People,Ideas and Technology. If you have less time , you may have to find partners, employees, consultants to assist you, contract labourers to assist you.
6. Implement a better time management system.
Use a online or offline calendar to know how much time is available.
Make sure you cut out activities that are not really helping you accomplish your goals.
7.Stop majoring in minors or things that are not much priorities or impact on your results.
You can hire a Virtual assistant as a busy person.
8. You may have failed to achieve your goals because you didn't work with an Accountability Partner or a Mastermind Group
Taking 5 Actions a day on your goals. Doing your daily affirmations on your goals. Or Knowing how to dealing with rejection.
9.You may still have Unconscious limiting beliefs sabotaging your success.
You may need to replace those limiting beliefs with Empowering Beliefs. And You need to eliminate those fears stopping you.
Remember Every Failure contains valuable lessons if you take the time to learn from them.
